Grinch Steals 20k Worth of Toys From St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center

Can you believe the nerve of some people? Some seriously messed up Grinch stole over $20,000 worth of toys from the Children’s Rehabilitative Services clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.

Most of the toys that were stolen were meant to be Christmas gifts for children with chronic and disabling medical conditions. Most of these children’s families probably can even afford to provide their children with Christmas gifts and this was a way of normalizing these children’s pain filled lives by giving them gifts and letting them feel normal for just one day.

The thieves also took two large Wii systems, a popcorn machine used at various St. Joseph Hospital events and the Santa Claus and Easter bunny costume.

The hospital tries to give each child in the hospital a toy for Christmas and now that goal is in jeopardy. Hopefully someone is able to step in and replace the missing toys before Christmas. People wishing to donate or learn more about the donation guidelines for St. Joseph’s children with special needs should call Ani Gurlekian at the St. Joseph’s Foundation at 602-406-3041.

Whoever did this is a lowlife who possibly ruined Christmas for a bunch of sick little kids. I hope to get caught by police and go to jail for a very long time.
